Romanticize Your Life

 How to Romanticize Your Life

Ahhh don’t you want to wake up everyday thinking this is the best day ever? And how everyday after that will be the best day ever?!? Well. That’s kinda what it means to romanticize your life.

Hi! And welcome back to LGWFIT!! Today we are going to be talking about what it means to romanticize your life. This has been something I've been getting SO much better at. I used to look at my life as a normal life, with great moments sprinkled in between. For example, I would go to school, come home to a great family and just be content. Maybe I would get extra excited for the vacatio we were leaving for in a month, or hanging out with my friends that evening. But what does it mean to go over and beyond this feeling? Romanticizing. It's the concept of making every dull thing into something magical. It's believing that your morning drive is fun, that every cup of coffee is the best you’ve ever had, it's making the most simple and mundane things exciting.

You know, back before I did romanticize my life I found myself way less happy. There's something about feeling excited about EVERY LITTLE THING that makes you appreciate life SO much more. Not saying it's not okay to feel sad, of course sad or mad emotions are valid, but that isn’t what i'm saying. Take some time and drive your car sound, or go ona  walk and listen to your favorite songs, or sit by a lake and watch the sunset and just APPRECIATE- a BIG part of romanticizing. Basically, in simple words, learning to take it all in. Learning to appreciate every single thing you are given. I actually have a playlist called “I Know that Feeling,” for when I'm driving around romanticizing my life. They are basically songs that practically anyone can listen to and get that feeling in their tummy.  Here are some of my favorite songs to listen to while romanitizing my life:

-Sleep on the Floor by the Lumineers

-Just a Little While by The 502s

-Little Lion Man, The Cave and Cleopatra by Mumford and Sons

-Supercut by Lorde

-Freaks by Surf Curse

-Ribs by Lorde

These are just some of the songs that help me appreciate moments in my life. Honestly, there are so many different tools to help you romanticize your life. Personally, I love doing my own research and trying to find ways. Tik Tok is my favorite for help- a ton of tiktokers live by this and have entire accounts dedicated to it.  So take a second, sit back, get off your phone and just appreciate :) Thank you for reading, see y’all next time!!
